Is it possible to give the option to state a 2th, 3th or 4th Name instead of just a Middle Name. For example; catholic names.

because of the power of the search engine from the programmers, separate fields may not be necessary.

some of my relatives will place several names in the first or last name field, even with parenthesis' around them, and the search engine will still find them.

as of 3 months ago, the search engine did not look at the nicknames, but it will look at the display names.

therefore: load the first name fields with as many names as it will hold. Then configure the display names to what you like to view on the tree. The search engine should find the names.

If the names are not commonly used, I would place them in the biography section.

Also, the GEDCOM backup now archives the display name. Yet another field for storing multiple names of people
