Thank you for the new home version 1.04.

I ask that you display each profile identification number on the profile-edit-screen on the next version. Until there is the ability for the program to communicate directly with the on-line database, there is no way to link portraits directly with any PC archive.

As per my previous post last year, I have copied the identification number of each on line profile and rename each archived portrait connected with that profile. BTW, that ID number is by default also copied to the GEDCOM. It is displayed as the last set of numbers on the URL of each profile. Just look at the address bar when you are at the profile of an individual.

Therefore, if I am looking for the archived portrait file, I merely search for the file name based on the ID number.

Because my family tree has over 500 photos and is bi-lingual with a non European language (Chinese), this nomenclature protocol works for me.

I am sure others can tag their photos. I know within 1-3 years strengthening facial recognition algorithms might make this naming protocol superfluous.

Your 1.05 with the photo profile export is a great addition. This is a major reason to purchase a premium subscription. You can now archive all your work onto your hard drive and now have the profile photos connected to each profile.
