dynastree Home Edition 1.04 online!

A new version (1.04) of dynastree Home Edition has been released today and is available for download:

The help section has now completely been translated to Spanish and Portuguese, and some bugs have been fixed.
To install the new version, download the file via the link above, and then double-click it and follow the instructions.
A complete manual for the program is included under “Help”.

dynastree Home Edition is designed for creating a family tree offline, and can alsobe used to edit back-ups of family  trees exported from the dynastree website. It allows for editing a host of different file formats, e.g. the popular and widespread GEDCOM format (.ged),  but also .csv, and .xml.

    O..K.., I just hovered over the link to download the home edition and noticed that it points to a .exe file which is MSWindows only!!

    As not all your users subscribe to that uncompromising monopoly, is there a Linux version or at least a cross-platform one that is available for download?

    We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we currently only have a Windows version of the software. Of course there are operating systems besides Windows, but it remains most prevalent. Our developers successfully ran dynastree Home Edition on Linux using Wine, may we suggest trying that solution?
